Support Workers will typically offer support and encouragement to individuals living with a learning disability, autism, mental health and behaviours that challenge.The main role of a Support Worker is to empower service users with the skills to live independently. With a person-centred approach, the support you deliver will look different for each individual. You may be supporting individuals with budgeting finances, shopping, personal care, meal planning, preparation and cooking, and engaging in activities within the local community. Live-In SupportWorker’s will typically live with an individual for a week at a time and provide them with a stable source of support for the duration of the live-in.Every day is different!
